At Lake Mary Preparatory School, students from grades 7 through 12 experience a nurturing and supportive environment in our boarding program. The heart of this experience lies within our boarding facilities.

University Hall: Our main dormitory, University Hall, spans 48,000 square feet across 12 acres adjacent to the school campus. Equipped with essential amenities, it serves as a comfortable and convenient home away from home for our boarding students. Within University Hall, students have access to a dining hall, common lounges, a gym, basketball and tennis courts, and study rooms.

Room Amenities: Each room within University Hall is thoughtfully designed to emulate a college dormitory setting. Furnished with beds, desks, shelves, ample storage space, and private bathrooms connecting adjoining rooms, our accommodations provide an ideal environment for both study and relaxation.

Boarding Program

Residential Life: Our boarding program emphasizes the importance of community living. Students reside alongside dorm parents, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie. Through shared experiences, students develop social skills, self-discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. Participation in various activities, events, and extracurriculars further strengthens our community bonds.

Daily Life: Boarding students enjoy the convenience of three daily meals, laundry facilities, and proximity to all academic and recreational amenities. Within University Hall, recreational opportunities abound, including pool tables, table tennis, and large-screen televisions, ensuring that students have ample opportunities for leisure and relaxation.

Extracurricular Activities

Sports and Athletics: Lake Mary Prep boasts a dynamic athletic program comprising 36 teams spanning a wide range of sports, from football and soccer to golf and swimming. As proud members of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), our students have the opportunity to compete at both regional and state levels.
